JimeneZ's makes music from a different space, using a Venezuelan four string guitar he builds a sonic wall to hang words and feelings. A riveting concept fusing Venezuelan folk flair sounds, eclectic pop-rock hints and heart felt spanish and english lyrics. This is music with a bewitching smile. Entre dos Mundos. “Quattro [4]” Cuatro Puntos Cardinales/ Cuatro Estaciones/ Cuatro Cuerdas/ Cuatro Canciones/ Cuatro Letras:Amor-Love/Cuatro Sentidos:Olfato-Vision-Gusto-Tacto………… there's more....stay Tune!

Shame on me I don't understand Spanish, I guess “Quattro [4]” will be your album? If everything on it will be (at least nearly) as good as the tracks here on the page, it should be a success. Have you got some serious marketing and management going on? A track like Sonador, though I do not know what the lyrics deal with, would be really great as a radio power play hit or as an opening theme for a TV series, it is soooo catchy.

Hola, amigo de Venezuela.

The best CD by Caetano Veloso is with no doubt Transa. To truely understand Caetano, you have to understand the icon he is to our pop culture here. He is very controversial and always try to show his oppinion about anything going on. And he always tried to be polemic, but at the same time, he is not. That makes him much more of a clown than anything else. But in the past, he played a very important political part here. You should listen to "Tropicalia". It was the most important musical movement in Brazil (took place in the 70´s). It changed Brazilian music forever. And Caetano Veloso was a part of the project. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropicalismo
See ya!

Very very good! Despite the Latin-American influences, this also has something of early seventies charts pop, as in "Spirit in the sky", "Give Peace a chance", "Neanderthal Man". What I mean by that is the effectiveness and the (in a positive sense) simplicity, and a slight groove which subtly builds and starts to creep in your consciousness, when you say "Wow there is a groove, and THAT groove is so cool."

Hola!
That´s nice you like Caetano... but in my opinion, he used to be much better in the past. Anyway, he is a very controversial caracter.
And where are you from?

Let´s listen to your music... =o)
